With a population of 460,000, Ensenada is the third largest city in the State of Baja California Norte, after Tijuana and Mexicali.
Been here a few times and can be a little pricier than in town bc it’s the port obviously. There is a lot of other boats here as well docked. I’ve even seen a boat from Delaware docked here before lol. They have a soccer field here as well. It’s pretty big.
The street tacos in Ensenada are spot on. Never had an issue with them before and it’s a must have.
They used to have a giant Mexican flag flying at the port but didn’t see it last time I was there.
Lost a star bc it could be up kept better here. Was walking along the docks and there is trash all in the water. I understand it’s Mexico but it’s a tourist area so should be up kept.
kinda the epitome of a mexican tourist destination. you can totally walk the 10 – 15 minutes from port to town center. nothing to worry about.
just ignore any vendor or pushy sales front. they are totally harmless.
make sure to eat civiche at La Guerrerense or El Guero.
all the shops are located on Lopez Mateos. if you walk the length of that street, youve taken in most of what ensenada has to offer.
